Destination: Stability!

At last, my computer is stable. Turns out, I had a bad motherboard, and I don't plan on purchasing another Gigabyte product again. Come to think of it, the GPU cooler I got is Gigabyte also, and the "turbo" fan had one of its "wires" "caught in itself" right out of the box, so the "turbo fan" "made a horrible fucking noise" and now the "wires are yanked the shit out of it." Oh wait, that was Thermaltake. Gigabyte made my "awesome CPU cooler that does so much OMFG better" that doesn't do any better at all, but cost $50 anyway.

My neighbor Ben gave me a spare ASUS P4P800S-X he had laying around the office, and suddenly I can run at my stock 3.0 ghz without issue, things run smoother, I can frigging play Fable without memory access errors, all that good stuff.

Tomorrow I'll be back to the magical land of Windows XP after this stability-search-induced stint in Win2k.
